THINGS TO DO
If Indianapolis is known for one thing, it’s the Indy 500. Takes place on the morning / late afternoon of our wedding party day. Should be finished by around ~4pm Sunday. Feel free to arrive at our party whenever you like!
Brown County is a hilly, forested county around an hour south of central Indianapolis. There are lots of cozy little cabins to rent, and trails, creeks, lakes, and small towns to explore.
INDIANAPOLIS MUSEUM OF ART (also known as ‘Newfields’)
The IMA (Newfields) is nice! It’s a really spacious and open building, and has lots and lots of originals that you’d probably recognize.
Charming restaurant / boutique district in downtown Indy. Bottleworks, Fowling, Duckpin Bowling, are standouts.
Nice walkable neighborhood near downtown. Duckpin Bowling at Fountain Square Theatre Building, and the Arts Center at the Murphy Building are standouts.
The generational talent of the WNBA. Fever play at home Saturday at 1pm.
“Carburetor Day“ is a practice and prep day for the Indy 500. Spectators welcome. Also features a concert from 3pm - 6pm headlined by Bret Michaels and The All-American Rejects.

RESTAURANTS
Good American bar food in a charming old building, in a charming old town on a charming old railroad.
Good Pizza in Pendleton (the other local small town). They have a sister restaurant called Catello’s next door, which also has a good reputation. Reservations recommended.
